Броня крепчает Броня «Арматы» - многослойный пирог из металла, керамики и композитов. В ее основе созданная НИИ стали новая броневая сталь, имеющая повышенные на 15% защитные свойства. На ту же долю снижен и вес конструкции. Для имущество боевой машины работает и система динамической защиты производства Коломенского КБ машиностроения - «Афганит». Здесь тоже теснить радар, что обнаруживает для подлете к танку вражеские снаряды, ракеты и реактивные гранаты. Против выстреливается защитный боеприпас, какой уничтожает их на безопасном удалении в 15 - 20 метров.
